Mayflower

Mayflower came to us from The Vicarage Gypsy Cobs.  I’d seen photos of their three ¾ Gypsy Cob fillies for the season and had decided to purchase one.  Before seeing them Mayflower was probably my third choice of the three.  She was the last one I viewed and much to my surprise she had an x-factor that I just couldn’t go past.  So after another trek back up a hill to have a good look at her dam I chose to buy her.  I picked her up after weaning and she managed her first ever float ride like an absolute trooper.

Mayflower has continued to take things in her stride ever since.  She went to a show as a yearling and handled the chaos there beautifully.  Started under saddle she worked through a few ‘do I really have to?’ moments to become a quiet steady ride and a calm sensible girl to do anything with.  She’s the one you’ll find in the paddock chilling quietly behind the most amazing curtain of a mane.
