Maggie

 Maggie came to us as a complete blank canvas at the age of about 6 months.  In fact we almost didn’t end up with her as her previous owner had had a change of heart and really wanted to keep her.  Fortunately for us in the end they kindly agreed to her coming here.

Maggie is amazing.  At 3 years she still looks a little like an over grown foal and she just continues to grow and grow.  She’s a big girl and will end up as an absolute tank.  Maggie is a real sweetheart she has loads of personality and is very hard not to like.  If you leave something in her reach she will check it out with no guarantees of returning it to you in it’s original condition.  She loves attention but would rather people left her mane tangled and did something more interesting with her instead.  She’s now started under saddle and is awesome, happy to move and not fazed by much at all.  She’s gone by herself through our hill paddocks and moved mobs of sheep, taking it all in her stride.

Maggie is the boss of her wee herd but very kind with it.  She’s confident and absolutely adorable.  She stole our hearts from day one and we feel very fortunate to have her here.
