Dakota

 At the time I went to collect Sage, the breeder there was kind enough to give me a tour of her lovely horses.  There was one little horse that particularly impressed me, a wee ¾ Gypsy Cob mare who I thought was nicer than some purebreds I had seen.  She wasn’t for sale at the time but I asked her owner to let me know if she ever did decide to sell her.  A month later I received a phone call and the opportunity to buy Dakota.

Dakota is the smallest mare we have and she is absolutely adorable.  With a kind face under the curliest forelock and sweet old soul eyes, this girl captures hearts.  She fitted quietly and kindly in with her herd and is sweet and willing in every way. 

With her size and temperament she is likely to produce some amazing wee foals, the sort that grow into those ‘one in a million’ ponies that you can trust with your children or grandchildren.
