Elly May

Elly May is Roses’ full sister just one year younger.  I had seen her as possibly for sale and thought she looked stunning.  It wasn’t until I rang her owner that I realised she was Roses’ sister.  Given how awesome Roses is that took things from a tentative enquiry to a ‘wow I would love to have this horse’.  Fortunately, her owner at the time ended up agreeing to part with her.  Quite coincidentally this conversation also happened at the side of the same beach we were staying at when we agreed to purchase Roses.

Elly May is beautiful, she’s a lot like her sister but different again.  She comes with her stunning trade mark one blue eye and the sweetest of willing natures.  Elly May was also very easy to start under saddle and is responsive without being reactive.  She is a very kind herd member and quite simply a delight to have around.  As I write this we are waiting for her to foal and know that given the parents this will be one awesome foal!
